Medical Director
Dr. Ferdinand Anderson is the owner and Medical Director of EMERGENCY ONE Urgent Care Center in Kingston NY. Dr. Anderson's extensive qualifications include Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Board Certification in Internal Medicine and over 20 years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and occupational medicine.
Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Physician Executives, and Medical Society State of New York.
Dr. Anderson has served as the Medical Director and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Kingston Hospital, Ellenville Hospital, Margaretville Hospital, Benedictine Hospital and is the past Chairman of the Hudson Valley EMS Medical Advisory Committee. In addition, Dr. Anderson was the Medical Director of Woodstock 94 and was responsible for the coordination and management of the on-site hospital, EMT services, and first aid for all attendees. Dr. Anderson is the current Medical Director for the Ulster County BOCES School AED program.
