Life today moves at a frantic pace, between appointments, meetings and errands; it's easy to forget to make time for lunch, let alone to make time for your health. At Emergency One, we help you understand the treatment you received and communicate that to your family doctor.
When you leave Emergency One, we will provide you with a summary of your results and specific instructions in regards to your ongoing care. In addition, you’ll receive a call from us to see how you’re doing.
Your primary care physician is integral in managing chronic conditions like arthritis, diabetes or high blood pressure. Your primary care doctors can help you prevent preventable diseases by considering your overall health.
With that in mind, it is important for you to let us know who your primary care doctor is, so that we can have an open line of communication. We will make sure that the results of your visit get communicated directly to your primary care physician.
If you do not have a family doctor, we are pleased to refer you to a local primary care doctor that we know will put your best interests forward.
